Case Code: 20260303AS/APL-64/224

Cause: Education

Vetted by: Zaman Foundation

Amir Shafique is suffering from both heart and kidney disease and requires regular dialysis to survive. Due to his critical health condition, he is unable to earn, and the family depends on his wife, who provides home tuition to manage household expenses. They have three children, all currently studying.

The family is already receiving medical and educational assistance from ZF, however, rising expenses continue to create financial strain. Amir’s daughter, Malaika, was previously enrolled in the 3rd semester of DPT at Sharif Medical College. Due to concerns regarding the quality of education, she applied to another university to secure a better academic future. She is now requesting support for her university fee so she can continue her education without interruption.

Supporting this case will not only help a critically ill patient’s family sustain stability but also ensure that a deserving student can complete her professional degree and build a secure future.

Lina, a Palestinian Student Studying in a Pakistani University

“After surviving a year of genocide in Gaza, I fled with part of my family while my father and brothers remained behind, and came to Pakistan to continue my education and honor my father’s dream. Now pursuing an MPhil in Applied Linguistics, I hope to challenge harmful narratives and become a voice for Palestine. Despite financial hardships, the kindness of the Pakistani people and the support of The Resilience Support Program (TRSP) — both personal and financial — have helped me rebuild my life with hope and determination.“
