UC 237 in Green Town, Lahore, is home to a large and diverse population facing significant socio-economic challenges. Many households struggle with limited income, large family sizes, and rising costs of living, making it difficult to meet even basic needs.
The presence of a large youth population, along with issues like drug use and lack of opportunities, adds further pressure on families. In such conditions, access to nutritious food becomes increasingly difficult, and meat is rarely part of daily meals.
Despite these hardships, the community reflects strong interfaith harmony, with Muslim and Christian families living together and sharing similar struggles. However, many are unable to fully experience the joy of Eid-ul-Adha due to financial limitations.
By contributing to this Qurbani initiative, you help ensure that vulnerable families receive fresh meat during Eid. This support not only improves nutrition but also strengthens community bonds and allows families to celebrate with dignity and hope.
