Baghdadi in Lyari is a densely populated community where families face ongoing financial hardship. Most residents work in labor-intensive jobs with unstable income, making it difficult to meet daily food requirements. Meat is rarely part of their regular diet due to rising costs.
During Eid-ul-Adha, this inequality becomes more visible. While some families enjoy abundant meals, many in Baghdadi are unable to afford even a basic festive dish. This creates emotional and financial strain during what should be a time of celebration.
