In Rahwali, Gujranwala, many families face ongoing financial challenges due to limited and unstable sources of income. Daily wage earners and informal workers make up a large part of the population, leaving households vulnerable to inflation and economic uncertainty.
Basic necessities take priority, which means access to balanced and protein-rich meals becomes limited. For many families, meat is a luxury they cannot afford except during special occasions like Eid-ul-Adha.
Both Muslim and Christian communities in the area share these hardships, with little access to social protection or consistent support systems. Large family sizes further increase the pressure on already strained household resources.
This Qurbani campaign aims to ease that burden by ensuring fair and respectful distribution of meat among the most vulnerable families. By prioritizing those in greatest need, the initiative helps improve food security while fostering dignity, compassion, and inclusion within the community.
