UC 239 in Green Town, Lahore, is a diverse and densely populated community where many families continue to face economic and social vulnerabilities. A large number of households struggle with low incomes, limited job security, and rising living costs.
The area is home to both Muslim and Christian families who coexist and share similar hardships. With limited access to healthcare, education, and welfare services, families often prioritize basic survival over proper nutrition.
Children, elderly individuals, and single-income households are particularly affected, as they require more consistent access to nutritious food but often go without it. Meat consumption remains rare and is typically limited to Eid-ul-Adha or other special occasions.
Through this Qurbani initiative, deserving families will receive fresh meat, helping bridge nutritional gaps and bring relief during Eid. Beyond food support, this effort fosters inclusion, strengthens community bonds, and allows families to experience Eid with dignity and hope.
