In UC 237, Green Town, many families face ongoing financial hardship due to unstable incomes and limited employment opportunities. A large portion of the population works in informal sectors or relies on daily wages, leaving them vulnerable to inflation and economic uncertainty.
The community also faces additional social challenges, including limited access to healthcare and the growing impact of drug use among youth. These issues place further strain on already struggling households and affect overall well-being.
As a result, families often prioritize basic survival needs over nutrition. Protein-rich food like meat is rarely affordable and is usually limited to special occasions such as Eid-ul-Adha.
This Qurbani initiative aims to provide timely relief by ensuring fair and respectful distribution of meat among the most deserving families. It supports not only their nutritional needs but also promotes dignity and care within the community.
